Late last night, I booked a last-minute-ish flight to Marrakesh with my friend, K. We leave next Saturday for a long weekend. I'm stoked but aside from my feverish pinning and my ever-growing shopping/souk list, I don't know too much about Marrakesh.
So if you've been, I hope you'll share some of your insight and favorites with me. We're deciding on a hotel today {we're thinking a Riad in the Medina} so if you have any recommendations, we're all ears. ;)
oh, i can't wait to hear about your trip- I'm headed there in february for a week, will be interested to hear what you think of it and what you did. a friend of mine who went there last year said you MUST go to the spas, she recommended Les Bains de Marrakech- http://www.lesbainsdemarrakech.com/. ReplyDeleteHer one tip was to spend a day or two walking through the souks before you buy anything, to get yourself oriented- then you can go back and buy what you love- which i suspect will be a lot of goodies! Enjoy!
